Teflon™ PTFE Basic Shapes
Made-to-Order PTFE Balls, Rod & Tube, Squares, Blocks and Molded Blanks 

Applied Plastics Technology, Inc. can supply you with made-to-order Teflon™ PTFE compression molded blank shapes for your own in-house machining. These are made-to-order, and are generally not in stock for immediate shipping. Delivery lead times vary.

Compression molded PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) shapes include: blocks, small plates (square or rectangular), *short sections of rod & tube, and solid PTFE balls or ball blanks.  Please email us for more information.

Please note that APT does not extrude PTFE rod & tube. The length of our compression molded rod and tube sections varies with diameter. *Typical maximum tube & rod lengths are approximately 5"-10" or less depending on existing tooling for a given size.

Teflon ® PTFE Balls and ball blanks are available in a variety of sizes and materials.

PTFE Ball materials include:

  • Modified PTFE Balls (Teflon™ NXT 85)
  • 316 Stainless Steel Filled-PTFE Balls
  • 15%  & 25% Glass filled-PTFE Balls
  • Graphite/Carbon filled-PTFE Balls

Solid PTFE ball sizes range from 1/8" to 8" diameter. (Larger sizes are possible).
