APT machines custom made-to-order plastic component parts for commercial and industrial customers & OEMs. We work to your specifications and can produce small prototype quantities when needed, and short run and larger production run quantities. We utilize our in-house PTFE compression molding capabilities to create stock forms and near net shapes for efficient machining of custom ptfe parts. We also machine a variety of plastics including PCTFE, acetal, Ultem 1000, nylon, Torlon and others.

Precision Machining of Custom Plastic Components
CNC Turning
A flanged sleeve bearing machined from Teflon™ PTFE receives a finishing pass. APT efficiently machines parts like this by starting with an in-house compression molded PTFE tube in order to minimize material waste and reduce machining time.
CNC Turn-Mill Machining
The custom machined PTFE part above is having its bottom features rough machined. This is an example of a turn-milled part that is utilizing live milling in addition to CNC turning.
Multi-Axis / 5-Axis Machining
Custom machined PTFE Valve Bodies and component for OEM customers.
APT's Mazak Integrex J-200 and Integrex 200-IV ST are excellent for turn-mill, multi-axis part production of Teflon™ PTFE and a variety of engineering plastics. Our CNC machines provide precision turning along with angular milling, drilling & tapping and are ready to machine your custom parts. The 200-IV ST has a 26 inch maximum machining diameter.
