APTLON™ 61

A glass filled PTFE compound that is a blend of virgin PTFE and a red glass filler.

The primary filler is a short fiber glass added to increase wear resistance and compressive strength while maintaining a low coefficient of friction and resistance to corrosion. The addition of glass has a minimal effect on the electrical properties of virgin grade PTFE.

Specific Gravity: 2.15-2.18
Tensile Strength: 2600-3100 psi
Elongation: 220%
